The summit is connected to nearby Dromana by a winding tourist road - prominent viewpoints include Bowens Point (145m), Franklin Point (195m), Murrays Lookout (247m), and Chapmans Point (274m), the latter being the best vantage point to view the peninsula itself. The attractions at Arthurs Seat include Arthurs Seat State Park (including "Seawinds" gardens), a lookout tower, a maze and restaurants. There is a viewing area near the summit which has extensive views of Port Phillip Bay with the Melbourne City skyline and the You Yangs visible on the horizon on a clear day. NB: The chairlift is not operational at this time.

  • Take the pleasant one hour circuit walk to Kings Falls.
  • Enjoy a view of the bay and city skyline from the summit.
  • Visit the delightful Seawinds Garden which contains several sculptures by William Ricketts.

Facilities include picnic tables, electric barbecues, water and toilets are provided at Seawinds and the Arthurs Seat summit. There is 24 hour access to the park and summit. Seawinds Garden is open to vehicles at 10:00 am and closes 4.30 pm weekdays and 5:00 pm weekends.
